in the el camino the starter wires were cut like most of the other wires in the car i hooked up a wire to the solinoid and the other end to the other part of the wire that im sure goes to the ignition switch the only things in it that work are the horn key buzzer floor lights and the headlights but when i turn the key it makes a clicking noise but everything stops working until i unhook the battery then hook it back uo then everything starts working what is the reason for that and what would cause a dome lights wires to burn
