When I start my car, it runs ok in park but everytime I try to put it in gear it's shuts off. Do you know why?

Sounds like the TCC (torque convertor clutch) lockout solenoid has packed it in. It could also be a problem with the idle speed. I have even seen cars with a bad alternator do this under the increased load of putting the vehicle in gear, which lowers the idle and increases the work on the alternator. Have this checked out by a mechanic.
